Every single aspect of our stay was exceptional. The rooms are so clean and comfortable. They have thought of everything possible to provide a luxurious stay. Thomas is a brilliant host, incredibly helpful and full of amusing stories about Islay.

Beautiful location and base for exploring the island. Close enough to Bowmore to pop into town for a meal. Can walk it but a bit tough in the dark, so recommend a car (not sure you can easily navigate the island without one). That said, Jim does provide a taxi and whiskey tour service, which we didn't use since we had a car but I am sure it would have been a hoot - Jim is a proud islander who is happy to share his love of the island with guests. He and his wife, Caroline, were very welcoming and cook up a mean breakfast. We felt right at home and the bed was sooooo comfy. Thank you :)

quiet location, nice apartment, equipments are more than enough, and hosts are very helpful. it was a great experience and highly recommended. we will be back for sure!
The owners were incredibly nice, very helpful and accomodating. The location was fantastic, with walking distance to several distilleries and local restaurants. Amazing breakfast. The local village bar with traditional music is one to not miss!!!
My wife and I loved the spot in the village, right at the end of the houses with an unobstructed view of the bay over the lawn. The staff were very kind, we had a delicious breakfast everyday, and we were very helpful with the laundry service. The public bar was a great way to get out of the rain after a long day to warm up with drink, games, and chats with other tourists and locals.
Nice and clean rooms in a beautiful village.
Niall was super friendly and could answer all our question about Islay surondings and distilleries.
Will visit again.
Good location in centre of village and very close to the ferry
Has obviously had a recent refurb, and looks a lot better on the inside than the outside
In advance of the trip, communication with Niall was great. He gave a quick overview of the village highlighting the local restaurants and where advance booking would be required.
On arrival, check in was easy and he facilitated an early one when I enquired about some luggage storage.
In terms of the property, lovely room with everything you need and owners on site at all times should you have any questions or needs.
Cracking breakfast.
