Super clean and it is very beautiful. It was spotless. Highly recommend it.
Best holiday rental we’ve ever stayed in; this is the place to come to totally relax and unplug from the hustle & bustle. Pierhouse Hotel around the corner serves incredible seafood: if you follow the path at the end of the lane leading into the house, it’ll take you around the coast and finish at the Pierhouse - this find was a highlight of our trip. We loved it and would love to come back
Gorgeous cottage with beautiful views and lovely walk into the village, 10 Mins along the single track road or half and hour or so along the beach and onto a scenic footpath around the headland. Extremely tranquil location, but with a delicious fish restaurant and bar just a short walk.
We had a wonderful week at the Old Ferryhouse. Of all the many cottages I've stayed in over the years of visiting Port Appin, this was the absolute best for location - incredible to be right on the shore, and also in the heart of the village. The kids loved playing on the shore and paddle boarding in the bay. The sun room overlooking the shore was such a lovely space; that view! We had a great stay - spacious bedrooms, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, plenty of hot water. We also really appreciated all the books and games.
Beautiful property with gorgeous sea and country views…10 min woodland walk to village with very dog friendly restaurant…support from owner during week to check if we were ok…highly recommended…
This is my favourite part of the West Coast and the cottage is in the heart of the village but secluded too. It’s full of character, comfortable, clean and stocked with wonderful books and maps. The owners were friendly and welcoming.
The house was very clean, comfortable and had exceptional views. It’s in a lovely village well positioned for Oban or Fort William. The hosts were also really helpful.
Location, 10-minute walk to the village which has a well stocked grocery store, and two great hotels with excellent restaurants. great walking choices in both Port Appin, and the small island of Lismore, reachable via a 7-minute ferry ride.
