…i stayed just the one night…everything was perfect…and such a welcoming host…a lovely lady…nicely kept house..breakfast was great…and evening meals are also offered…although I didn't have one…i have no doubt they’d be superb….all in all….can highly recommend this accommodation.

Location was great for where we were working. We were also able to accommodate one of our colleagues little Dog at an additional cost due to a family illness at the last minute. The host was lovely

Sef welcomed us and showed us to our rooms, which were very well equipped, clean and comfortable with beautiful ensuite shower/ toilet.
The optional evening meal was prepared by Shaan and was delicious. Both hosts were warm and welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed.
Breakfast was great with lots of choice.
We stopped off at Newark on our way north and didn't realise how much there is to see and do in the area so will certainly return to Tumbleweed Cottage.
We were waved off by Sef and Shaan and it felt almost like we had been staying with friends.
My mother is partially sighted with mobility issues and found the stair lighting and room layout very manageable.

The chalet has all the amenities for a one or two night stay, overall it was well presented and clean. Having said that the double bed had animal or human hair on the sheets despite appearing clean.

Positive, warm, friendly welcome. The house has been refurbished to a high standard, very light and airy. Everything needed to accommodate the start of our stay was catered for. The scones and jam were a wonderful added extra. Beautiful grounds to match the beautiful village.
2nd time staying here, its a lovely little village pub with great rooms inside the pub and outside chalet rooms, staff are all polite, helpful and friendly.
Nice peaceful location in a small village, all the staff were lovely, you get a friendly welcome from the first moment you walk into the reception to the time you are checking out.
In our experience everything was clean, looked good and worked. The room was not huge but it was quite big enough. The same applied to the en suite. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was continental style help yourself with more than enough in choice and quantity. Although it was on a country main road, when we stayed our night time was quiet. The small village with its green and other pub also provided a lovely summer stroll.
