This place is great. It is located in a small rustic village and the atmosphere is amazing. The apartment is in an old cottage with beautiful garden (right next to Finch Foundry). The room is a good size and the beds are comfortable. We also had our own kitchenette with microwave and fridge. Pete was a very nice host and cooked a great breakfast of our choice. He also recommended places to visit nearby. Our daughter enjoyed playing with the dog and feeding the chickens.

We used the self catering cottage that was immaculately clean with all the necessary cooking equipment. However we were lazy and made use of the gluten- and lactosefree breakfast that was served each morning in the B&B. Thank you Jane ever so much for your great kindness, your friendliness and to lend us the booklet of the Dartmoor walks. It made our short birthday trip for my husband a unforgettable one. We were looking to be close to nature, be somewhere quiet and be out of the daily ratrace. We found it all at Lobhill. We definitely return. We left enough to see for our next trip.
