Very close by to visiting our son who lives 2mins away in car,also a great stop over for our next day to Cornwall,very quite location and host pete really lovely and made you feel very welcome,we had a cooked breakfast,which was really great.Would recomend brookside cottage you won't be disappointed Tricia&Andy

Situated on the edge of Dartmoor the Manor offers easy access for walkers or tourists alike. The location was ideal for what we wanted to do. It's a beautiful old house and the large beautifully kept grounds offer plenty of room to stroll around or just sit in the sun and relax. The Breakfasts are exceptional and the Hosts are very, very helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. There are also plenty of local hostelries within easy distance for getting an evening meal. Whats not to like?

Natasha was very welcoming and the rooms were immaculate. Everything we needed was there - tea & coffee (with fresh milk), comfortable beds, a good shower and strong internet. The food was great - Colin is a good chef - and the location, in the heart of the village, is excellent. We really enjoyed our stay.
The B&B was a very quaint, historic place. The village was very small, but the Church was very interesting to explore. We were happy that we booked dinner at the property as it would have been a drive to find another restaurant. The hosts were lovely & very happy to chat. Dinner & breakfast were yummy.
Natasha and Colin were very helpful in terms of securely storing our 4 bikes on our trip. We liked the village location close to Okehampton. The rooms were well laid out and spotlessly clean.
Natasha & Colin were great hosts. B&B is new and very clean. Great shower. Fresh milk as opposed to the long life sachets for tea & coffee in room. Great breakfast. Small village but food available at B&B or nearby village.

Wonderful carefully retored thatched cottage in pretty historic village. Comfortable bedroom (one of two in the B&B), with good modern ensuite. Welcoming hosts, who gave us an excellent traditional Devon pub evening meal suggestion. Good breakfast in large pleasant dining room. Highly recommend.
