The homely layout was relaxing.
Our room had beautiful views and the colour scheme was instantly calming.The bed was wonderfully comfortable like a big hug but not too soft. Was sad to wake up.
The en suite was generous and well laid out.
Shower pressure was lovely.
Breakfast was perfect. Ordering on line was new to us but the home cooked result was lovely and filled us for the day to follow.
Our host was generous with his time and we loved the history of the building. What a lovely place to stop over if you are exploring the area.

The most wonderful stay in Oakdean Cottage Yurt, we loved every minute. Super clean, beautifully decorated, the facilities were great and right next to the Forest of Dean. We would have loved to have stayed longer! Thank you for a perfect two days.

Very comfortable and spotlessly clean room overlooking the village green. A peaceful location, with lots to do nearby. Lots of choices for breakfast, and good places to eat lunch and dinner nearby. Lovely hosts.

Lovely little oasis of a garden with really helpful hosts. The kitchen was well equipped and perfect for our morning eggs. The bed was comfy and it felt very quiet and secluded. Parking was also very easy.

Quite private little area with bbq pit.
We have seen squirrels in the morning having while breakfast. Cabin is clean. All utensils we need is there to cook. Peaceful chill stay if you want to just relax and go out for nice walks or visit castles.

Very nice location although on a busy road it was still quiet lots for everyone to do
Tony gave such a warm welcome with tea and delicious cake. The location is perfect: Newnham is a beautiful little village, right beside the river and so close to a multitude of forest walks. The room was elegant, soothing and tasteful, and I think the bed was the comfiest I've ever slept in. Breakfast was scrumptious and we felt so welcome throughout our stay. Will be recommending to everyone and will definitely be back!

Tony was helpful from the second made the booking, communication was great and the welcome was warm.
The B&B is a perfectly decorated home from home with beautiful decor, big comfy beds and soft fluffy towels.
The room has everything you could need and more.
Breakfast was fresh, home cooked with plenty of options.
A wander around the village is a must to taken in the beautiful old buildings.
We will definitely be booking again 🙂
