The whole atmosphere of the place was old fashioned comfort - perfect for a family get together. I liked the piano but it would have been nice to know it was there in advance. The kitchen was very well equipped - we'd brought our own stuff but didn't need it. The garden was lovely and the weather was kind so we had a BBQ.

Absolutely amazing breakfast. Fruit cups, yoghurt, cereal then full cooked breakfast of your choice. Orange juice, tea or coffee.
Room lovely and clean, even though a little dated but that didn't matter.
Staff were all lovely and very knowledgeable.

Pure class! I was on my bike and the bad weather made my feel like a drowned cat. I was immediately welcomed in a very caring manner.A very sweet couple who have the special gift being there for everyone, Unique. The room was cozy and very practical. Had a wonderful stay in this beautiful property. We booked the cosy room which was lovely & way bigger than expected. The bed was huge & so comfortable with luxurious bed linen, the best nights sleep I’ve had in ages. Lovely modern en-suite with powerful shower. Tea, coffee & water also in room. Breakfast tray was beautiful with cereals, croissants, yoghurts, fresh fruit & toast with butter & jams. Everything spotlessly clean. Owner was so friendly & welcoming & gave us local tips.

A very nice property well maintained and modern. Comfortable and warm and homely. Situated in a lovely little village with all the basics you could need. Would happily stay here again.
We had the small room but it was perfectly adequate with a lovely shower. Mortehoe is a lovely little village with beautiful cliff walks. Only a 5 minute drive to Woolacombe beach. You can walk there. It takes about 20 minutes but is a very steep walk on the roads on the way back. There are two pubs a few yards from the Smugglers Rest for evening Meals.
We loved how big the house was - so much space to chill - very cosy living room, homely well equipped kitchen, and dining room for dinner! Also the location was wonderful - lovely little village with beautiful coastal walks right from the front door.
