Lovely supply of breakfast goodies left for us. We wanted a quiet location which we got and had a lovely stay. Very comfortable and everything we needed.

Breakfast not good; bacon too crispy for me, beans tasteless, fried eggs hard

We were on our way to Penzance so we needed a stop half way. This was an ideal place to stop.

The staff were very attentive, lovely friendly atmosphere, the bar and lounge were lively but relaxing, the evening meal was good as was the breakfast. Clean, comfortable and good sized room. Lovely location in a lovely Dartmoor village.
The B&B was as advertised and what you would expect at the price, comfortable, clean and friendly hosts. Located in the center of the village with everything pretty much on your doorstep.
The owners were lovely. Breakfast was delicious. This is a wonderful hotel in an excellent location to explore Dartmoor, and very affordable. The owners, and others we met in the village, kindly went out of their way to share helpful ideas about where to go and what to see.
It was a very well priced hotel in a lovely village with a community feel. They were hanging flags as we left, a tradition of -13 years. Staff were friendly and accommodating.
I was given a very warm welcome and felt immediately relaxed. The couple running this place are delightful.
Although it is a little way out of the village, it is worth it for the view..
My room had a bath rather than a shower which is great for a walker to soak their aching legs and feet.
The full English breakfast was excellent.
Great location for spending some time on Dartmoor. Central location for an evening in the village pubs and the Italian was good for Pizza. Easy to park opposite. Comfortable night sleep, very quiet and cracking breakfast in the morning.
Very quiet and comfortable room. We had dinner. There were four of us - 2 meat, 1 fish, 1 vegetarian - all excellent. Very attentive and professional staff. Jude was exceptional. The village is picture perfect.
