Ohana House, hotel in Mitchell

Ohana House is a holiday home with a garden, set in Newquay. The property is 2.9 km from Fistral Beach and boasts views of the sea. Free WiFi is offered and free private parking is available on site.

The house was clean although a little worn and could have done with a facelift. It was comfortable and spacious but did not meet expectations nor did it truly reflect the description. Host seemed lovely although I didn’t meet them. Too many house rules for a holiday home such as signs in the bathroom advising you to use a toilet brush, and advised of deposit deductions for braking any of the rules.

Gorgeous little village, close enough to the Eden Project and really beautiful rooms! We were upgraded to a bigger room as we were on our honeymoon (which was incredible!!) and the restaurant there was fabulous!

Essentially a modernised and extended village pub but with an excellent location moments off of the A30 and with rooms in the grounds which are modern, clean and well equipped. Food choices are good with typical pub options but with one or two twists. Breakfast was good too but as others have said not a buffet with cereal options etc but a wide choice of cooked options which were nicely prepared.

This hotel is based in the village of Mitchell. It's an ideal base if you want to get out and explore Cornwall. The hotel was very clean the staff were very helpful offering advice on good places to visit during our stay. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of different options. If I offered any advice it would be to reserve a table in advance for evening meals as it does get busy.
