This wee cottage was a Gem of a find. For me the location was a priority, I wanted to be close enough to visit family in Maud, but not too close😏. The distance to the village is 2 miles, an 8 minute drive or you can hop the fence and walk the old railway line, a pleasant 40 minute walk to the center of the village. The cottage is at the end of the Farm road (no through traffic) and surrounded by fields, with great views of the hills. The cottage is nicely decorated and super clean. A well appointed kitchen with everything you need for a weekend stay. The bedrooms are a good size as is the lounge. Ps. The shower was good too.

SO quiet & peaceful just what we were looking for! FABULOUS accommodation - spotlessly clean & everything you need for your stay - T bags, coffee, salt, washing/showering products etc, bowls, poop bags & treats for our dog Daisy as well! Outside hose for mucky dog IF required, towel provided to dry dog. SO dog friendly, even Brodie the Hungarian vizla & Lucca the Italian greyhound were happy having a 'pal' in next garden tho Brodie happy chasing a THROWN LEAF!! Fridge freezer, washing machine etc EVERYTHING you need for a stay, recommended this residence to SO many friends & family! Fancy cake also on table for our arrival - THANK YOU. Good area to explore from, which we did as weather made this easy as it was DRY - something you DON'T usually say in Scotland!! Lots of information on the table re days out, eating places etc which was very helpful. WiFi with good reception. Bed very comfy & flat warm & cosy, good ventilation from windows. Glass, recycling & waste bins provided for use. Key in door for us, but Edith also met us, owners lovely people. I'm going through MS relapse at this time & and it's affecting mobility - stairs up to flat which gave me exercise in getting there but I was well aware they were there from booking.com description - nothing holds me back even IF it's a struggle I ALWAYS find a way around problem!!
