The location is amazing, but it is set up in the hillside with steep slopes, but the view you get is worth it. Parking was never far away, and as the road was quiet, I used to drop off outside the cottage and then go and find somewhere to park as we travelled with my elderly mum who has walking difficulties. The cottage itself was lovely and clean but does have steep stairs . The beds are really comfortable. The kitchen had everything for our needs but no washing machine but as we there for a long weekend did not require. The front room sofas are also really comfortable and watched the sunset each night. There are so many pubs in the area, all with good reviews. It is a perfect base to stay in and explore the local area. The Bodnant gardens are beautiful and we went to the hayloft bar and grill that was close by and had a wonderful sunday lunch some might say a little pricey but the lunch was full of local ingredients the beef was so thick and tender it was well worth it. I would highly recommend and stay again
