Clock House B&B in Marnhull provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a shared lounge. With quiet street views, this accommodation offers a patio. The bed and breakfast also provides free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests.

The Clock House truly lives up to its excellent reviews - beautiful and impeccably well kept property with comfortable and very clean rooms, friendly and gracious hosts who are knowledgeable and passionate about the area, generous and tasty breakfast. Marnhull is a lovely village in a lovely area. I traveled with my husband, our dog, and my parents, and all of us felt welcome and at home - we wished we could have stayed longer. We especially loved the garden and how each room has its own little patio area. The doggie welcome pack was also a sweet gesture and our pup indeed felt very welcome! We would love to return.

Our second stay at Yew Tree View, great value for money, well equipped, clean, warm, easy check in (key safe). Although compact, the kitchen has a small fridge, a two plate hob and microwave, plus plenty of utensils, pans etc so self catering is perfectly feasible - we ate in 3 nights out of 4. Marnhull is a lovely village, and the food at the Crown is great. Lots of walks nearby, fields rather muddy at the moment but that's hardly surprising given the recent rain!

We are so pleased that we found this delightful B&B which was situated in a pretty village which boasts 2 pubs with Thomas Hardy connections. A very high standard of accommodation with a lovely garden. The hosts, Chris and Mella were helpful and informative about the area. We enjoyed the breakfasts too. They were leisurely and set us up for the day. We also felt that our dog was welcome and there are plenty of scenic walks nearby as well as a spacious paddock.

The location in a small village 3 miles north of Sturminster Newton was ideal for us. It's a pretty good base for exploring places like Stourhead although that wasn't our main aim. Guest accommodation is in a purpose-built extension. Rooms are spacious and and well-equipped. The hosts, a couple of older ladies, were chatty and friendly but of retirement years, so I guess the business will change hands sooner or later.

As per other reviews. Perfect for a couple. Quite remote location within 30 mins to hour drive of many NT and Eng Heritage properties. Bovington and monkey world 45 to an-hour . Hosts friendly but also private depending what you prefer. . Hot shower good pressure. Small kitchenette but everything you need we self catered for 10 days. Local shops in village walking distance and supermarkets 10 mins drive. Great little getaway and good price.
