A lovely warm welcome from Michelle (and Mac, later). The premises are an old converted house and stables so narrow, steep staircases and creaky floors which give great character. My room had an entrance area (where the tea and coffee making facilities were located) then through a door into the bedroom. Nice bathroom and then shower room at the back. Fun see-through kettle, nice array of tea and coffee sachets, biccies and chocolates. Gorgeous and very generous breakfast; eggs royale with two poached eggs and a huge portion of smoked salmon plus a lovely continental section.
In the heart of the National Forest, The Post House is a 30-minute drive from historic Leicester. A 4-star family-run guest house, it has a pretty garden and individually styled rooms with free Wi-Fi....

Thank you for a very comfortable stay, fantastic hosts, great communication prior to my stay, I was allocated a very nice room, secure onsite parking was a huge bonus as I had my work van, amenities such as takeaways just a short walk away, lovely cooked breakfast too, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Post House.

The annex is clean, comfortable, modern and stylish with high quality fixtures, fittings and appliances. We enjoyed our two night stay there. The owner Lee was very friendly and helpful.

I only spent few hours in this place. Easy check in in the middle of the night. Clean place. I would stay there again!
A little off the usual setting. A bit difficult to find. Good drive entrance. Good check in. Bit difficult to find room.. plush room upgraded. Tea coffee. Good television. Excellent lighting. Room was well presented, food was fair for the price paid. All staff were polite and helpful. Hotel is located a very short walk from the village centre.. A fan, microwave, coffee machine and mini fridge were provided in the superior room.
The location was great 5 minute walk into the village where there was good pubs and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and professional the room was clean as was the bar area.
Good breakfast, ample car parking, nice grounds. I also like the fact that it is within walking distance of the village where there are some good restaurants. It was a pleasant walk. The breakfast staff were very pleasant.
