This is indeed a luxury yurt! It had everything we wanted and more. In particular, the bedding was super comfy!
We stayed for 7 nights during late May and used the hot tub for 6 of those and the braai for 5. We used the internal fire for 1 night when it was cooler (following rainy weather) and the yurt was toasty. The compost toilet was very beneficial; and the shared bathroom was always clean and had availability (even during half term holidays).
The site itself was beautiful and the camping community, including owners Gail and Amy, were lovely!
Great value for a longer stay and would absolutely return.

The location, the decor, the finishing touches, the little extras.
The room was big and comfortable and away from the pub, so no bar noise etc, however I was located in a downstairs room & you could hear the person above walking across the room quite loudly. Clean room and bathroom, & comfy bed. I think the price was a bit much considering you had to pay extra for breakfast, but all in all it was a nice stay in a quiet village with parking and decent food.
The pub is very pretty and in a lovely location in a village with lots of history. The welcome was warm and efficient. The room was across the road. The shower was super hot and powerful. The beds were comfy enough.
Lovely cottage, great location in a beautiful village and well laid out for self catering with good kitchen off the living room, comfortable bed and great shower. Great walks in the area, excellent all round .
Gorgeous country inn with good atmosphere and friendly helpful staff, decent variety of pub food cooked very well and a delicious breakfast. Our twin room was tastefully decorated, had comfy beds and a decent size en suite shower room with a powerful shower, nice toiletries too! Ye old Cheshire cheese is in a pretty village and perfectly situated for local walks of all abilities in Derbyshire and Staffordshire which was the reason for our visit. We certainly had value for money and came away feeling spoilt. Hope to return soon.
Lovely village Inn, very well renovated and kept in great condition.
The accomodation is separate from the actual pub/restaurant, so there is no noise, the actual room was comfortable, clean and tidy.
Breakfast was amazing.
Great find, just wish I could have explored around the area more.
Lovely village location. Friendly staff. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a good strong shower! The evening meal was good pub food, generous quantity and the breakfast was also very good.
