As soon as we got to the pub we felt at ease as there was a lovely, relaxed ambience about the place. This is due mainly to the staff and village volunteers who make this place special. A special mention must go to Rachel who runs the front of house and is a star. Such a breath of fresh air to find someone who loves her job, loves people and seriously cares about your stay. Excellent selection of beer too which helps! The rooms were gorgeous and just a step away from the bar area. We didn't spend much time in ours as we stayed in the pub until late. Breakfast was great too with lots to fill us up for the rest of the day. We will be back as soon as we can!

Excellent all round. The facilities were way above what was expected at a guesthouse. The standard
of furnishings and the attitude of the staff was incredible.
If this sounds unreal believe me it is absolutely not
and it sincerely reflects my experience and I regularly stay in hotels and other accommodation.
