The location was great really central and Ian as really good with providing information before the stay the guidebook sent prior to arrival was great and we went to few of the suggestions which were brilliant we will be looking to stay again next year.

A really cosy and comfortable place to stay while working away from home. It’s quiet and secluded with all the stuff you need. The room is kept clean and so is the bathroom. Perfect!
I’ve never had to ask for any help from Sally the host but I’m sure she would go out of her way to make any guests comfortable.

Love the location as it is near friends and family.
For those without friends and family in the area, it is in a village with very good access to the nearby historic city of St Albans. A 15 minute bus journey from the end of the Road will get you there.
The shared kitchen is great as is having clothes washing facilities. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a smart TV, and lovely waterfall shower. This has been my third visit and I look forward to my fourth.
Loved the quirky fox pictures everywhere and the deHavilland themed rooms with the relevant aircraft pictures gave a nod to the heritage of the area. Conveniently placed for M25/A1. Even that close to the M25 there was little to no traffic noise. Rooms were comfy and clean.
Brilliant location. I have stayed before and I know that the young team are really motivated. Excellent customer service. I like the De Havilland themed rooms too, being an aeroplane buff.
Really great place to stay, ideal location on M25/M1 route, loads of parking, friendly staff, quality real ale, comfortable room, hot powerful shower. Had a wander round the village, lots to see & plenty of places to eat & drink.
