Everything about the Pigsty was great. Very picturesque setting with amazing views. Very quite and peaceful..the cottage had everything we needed for a relaxing long weekend away. Dog friendly, fresh eggs provided by the chicken's there.. lots of information on what to do around Owestry was provided too which was helpful...

A stunning accommodation with beautiful views. It had everything you would need and the hot tub is a great addition to the relaxing break away. The owners Sarah & Pete were lovely and we most definitely will be visiting again.

Newly renovated hall with a homely feel. Extremely clean with very welcoming owners and excellent attention to detail. The breakfast was a great start to the day and the comfortable room and bed a wonderful finish. We stayed for two nights but would gladly have stayed more of our schedule had permitted. Highly recommended.

Myself and my partner were met by Peter and his smiling wife Lorain by the entrance to his house. We were then taken down to see the cabin which was a fun and lovely little place. It's on the bend of a small river (which I walked in) with great views to the fields and landscape beyond. It was so peaceful and the hot tub made it a perfect little hide away. We were escaping the city for a few days and that's exactly what happened. It was bliss. Simon & Kira
