Excellent, friendly and really comfortable. If you're thinking about it.. just book it, I'm sure you won't regret it. Roger and co were friendly, helpful to the point of posting back a wash bag left behind and offering a lift locally when my train was cancelled. Superb service.

Everything about the Mews was just gorgeous! On a chilly autumnal night it was warm and cosy. Inside the decor was just superb - there was such attention to detail, beautiful lovespoons, hearts everywhere, lush wool blankets lais on every bed, super comfy mattresses, beautiful fabrics for cushions and curtains, spare toiletries to use, everything you need in the kitchen, milk left for us in the fridge. I loved the ironwork on the wooden doors and the solid feel to the place, even though the floor was quite bumpy in places, it just seemed to add to the charm! It was also absolutely spotlessly clean.
While I didnt meet the host Clare, you could tell she had a good eye for what guests would like, and the result is somewhere I would loved to have stayed in longer :)

The garden space was great for little ones as it is completely fenced in. The views are stunning and can be enjoyed from the seating area and hot tub. The river is only a short walk away and we’ll worth a look. The property itself is very clean, tidy and comfortable. The kitchen is fantastically stocked and there is also a bbq available if you want to use it. All in all this is a little gem of a holiday home.
The house is just fantastic and has been done up really well. It is extremely well equipped and we really enjoyed going through what others (spices, pasta, oil, etc) had left in the cupboards to see what we could find! It's in a very rural and quite far from the closest village, really making it feel tranquil and isolated, just what we were after. Our host recommended a few walks in the area, which we enjoyed as well. We would absolutely go back, thanks Jon for having us
I loved the location of this hotel. It was easy to find and the staff were always so welcoming, friendly and genuinely interested in how I had spent my days. It was in a lovely village and was always very peaceful even though it was above a pub
Faultless. Exceed our expectations for the price paid. Excellent hosts, spotlessly clean, breakfast chefs were brilliant. Jill and Michael are lovely people and couldn't do enough for us. Although in the centre of the village it was a very peaceful and relaxing holiday. Don't really want to push this too much as I want to make sure there's still space for us. Will certainly be back.
Nice quaint hotel in the centre of the village. Staff were pleasant and our room was fine. Very old building that is full of character. Low ceilings, exposed beams and solid stone walls two feet thick. Great place for those interested in old inns and coaching houses. Would stay here again if in the area.
We had a great stay. Family room. Was specious and clean. Staff was excellent, helpful and approachable. Food was very good too. Situated in perfect location. Close to spectacular walks and forest trails. Cosy little village with friendly pubs.
