Excellent bath and decent sound proofing. Lovely host who also owns the bar/restaurant downstairs. The whole place will soon be reversed so we were told.

Large bright rooms with good facilities. Very clean and comfortable.
Gorgeous food in the pub downstairs, they have a fantastic beer garden and an outdoor pizza and grill. We stayed for a night before an early morning flight from Gatwick, and will definitely stay again.
Very convenient for meeting friends and family pre wedding celebrations. Near an interesting church and village centre to visit, and it was a very short walk from the station along the footpath.

The location was very quaint in a lovely village. Having internet access was very useful and the fact that shower gel was given in a handy dispenser was a very nice option.
Lovely old building, friendly staff, and very comfortable large bedroom which despite the age of the inn was elegantly decorated. It was close to village centre and walking distance of Lingfield race course. Good quality breakfast with plenty choices but a bit of fruit or yoghurt would make it excellent
The room was detached from the pub which allows for a quieter night away from the busy restaurant. The food served by the pub is really nice and I could not recommend it more. The staff has been really welcoming and I felt fully looked after from my arrival (the manager reserved a table on my arrival). It is really convenient for Gatwick Airport and convenient for a walk around the small village.
