Great location for exploring around the Ironbridge Gorge and Much Wenlock areas. It's not too far from Shrewsbury, Bridgnorth or Church Stretton either. Plenty of parking space and it has its own fenced garden with a hot tub. The lodge is spacious and comfortable. The views of the Wrekin and towards the South Shropshire Hills are stupendous - it was lovely to sit in the hot tub in the evening and watch the sun set. There's a village shop that opens every day until 7.30pm in Cressage, 1 & 1/2 miles down the road.

Where to start here, we had a booking for a lodge in another area that cancelled on us with less than 48 hours notice. This is how we stumbled across Squirrel pod, we called and spoke with Helen (host) who was extremely understanding to our situation and moved things around to enable us to stay at their site. Upon arrival we were met by Jamie (host) who took us to our pod and explained everything and gave advice on places to visit. The pod exceeded our expectations, well equipped, clean, cosy, with exceptional views. Our weekend away was amazing thanks to our super hosts and beautiful location, we are already looking at making our next booking here. I can not recommend this site highly enough.
