A perfect stay for us at "the end of the world". Our daughter loved the last mile to reach the house each time. :) For kids a really great place and for the parents, too. Having taken an extensive trip to Wales, England and Scotland, Pat, my husband, and I stayed in several bed and breakfasts and hotels. Of all the places we have stayed in both the United States where we are from, and the United Kingdom, The Burrows in Pembroke, Wales was our favorite. It had a beautiful welcoming yard with lovely flowers and plants, benches and a picnic table and was within walking distance to the sea. The Burrows was meticulously and beautifully renovated to reflect the period when it was built (dating back to the 1750s). It had both exquisite and elegant decor but was also extremely clean, comfortable and met all our needs and wants. Laura and Pete, the owners were warm, gracious and welcoming. We loved our delicious English breakfast complete with generous choices and helpings including French Press coffee, homemade granola and yogurt and handmade butter curls to name a few items, served in a beautiful breakfast room. Our only regret was that we had to leave and could not stay longer.
