The cottage was practical, clean and cosy. The location is excellent, close to so many beautiful places to walk and visit. Wonderful for small families. Would definitely come again.

What an amazing break we had at the lodge. Ideal location to explore the area with plenty of nice walks on the doorstep. The lodge was extremely comfortable, private and had all the facilities we could ever need. Including an office space which we intend to use on our next visit. Phone signal was still good for being in an isolated area and had wifi for firestick etc. Hosts were lovely and the wild life that was attracted to the garden area was amazing. Loads of birds and a red squirrel that visited every morning. Can't wait to get back and experience all the season at the lodge. We went start of autumn and was beautiful

Almost 150 years old and everything works perfectly. The family (3 children under 10y) were very comfortable and enjoyed ourselves in the surroundings as well as heading over to Glenshee for ski. The hosts were very helpful with tips about what to do and the place was very clean and well kept.
