Barry and Em were superb hosts, welcoming my mate and I, showing us round, telling us about the local area and giving us a great tip about a shortcut through some amazing scenery to a nearby pub/hotel which served excellent food and drink. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, and had the added bonus of a big window out of which one could see all manner of birds congregating on a series of bird feeders (if you like that sort of thing, which I do!). All in all, a great launching point for our schlep around the NW coast of Scotland. Would definitely stay at LDS again.
A 30-minute walk from Loch Ness and directly on the Great Glen Way route, the Craik Na Dav B&B is situated in natural woodland with views of Sron Na Muic Mountain opposite.

I like the warm welcome
How clean the place was how nothing was to much trouble
They stop and chat with you
They were full of local knowledge
The food was just perfect
I would give this place an easy 11/10 and the takeaway lunch was just uuuummmm

Sophia was a lovely host, the rooms were charming and we felt very well cared for. Great location and an easy walk from Fort Augustus (The shampoo and conditioner they provided was the best I’ve ever used, and they left homemade cake in the room for us)

Excellent Scottish breakfast in nice surroundings, nice landlady, quiet place at the end of the town. It's about a 15 minute walk to the village centre. All beautifully clean, nice bathroom.

The location was ideal being a short walk from the village which had a pub/hotel, post office, and a couple of shops. The setting was tranquil and the cabins were very well spaced apart - each with their own enclosed lawn area which allowed our dog to go outside without danger of escaping. The cabin was extremely well equipped and in very good condition.
Quiet location in the small picturesque village of invermoriston not a sound but birds and the river a place to escape the hustle and bustle of the cities. The hosts are fabulous with a vast knowledge of the area and surrounds
The self-catering apartment was in a quiet location in a village. It was immaculately clean and well equipped. The hosts were friendly, informative, welcoming, and pointed out areas of local interest. The bird feeder outside the living area window brought an assortment of birds to watch.
The owners have thought of everything regarding the accommodation, facilities and equipment, resulting in a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. They are very welcoming, thoughtful and kind. There is the added bonus of the amazing bird watching window and the possibility of seeing other highland wildlife. Great location and interesting things to see in the village. Highly recommended.
The property itself was spacious, clean and well equipped for a weekend stay - the view from the panoramic window is great, we were able to rustle up some good meals in the kitchen, and the bedrooms were very comfortable for a good night's sleep.
The location itself is secluded and peaceful, but close enough to the nearby villages of Invermoriston and Fort Augustus for a meal, a walk, or picking up any essential shopping.
