Everything about our stay was lovely. Cakes and fudge were a very nice touch and also delicious.
We'd travelled with the purpose of seeing the Severn Bore and the location couldn't have been better. Marie-Clare is a wonderful host, ensuring our stay was as comfortable as possible. She also told us about the best places to view it.
Breakfast was superb, with a wide choice of fresh fruit, yoghurt, fresh juice & cereals, with the table beautifully laid.

Lovely little oasis of a garden with really helpful hosts. The kitchen was well equipped and perfect for our morning eggs. The bed was comfy and it felt very quiet and secluded. Parking was also very easy.

Large spacious property with everything we needed, if not more…. Rustic charm…. Hot tub was excellent welcome bonus especially after a busy day
This is a charming, characterful pub. We received an extremely warm, friendly reception from our hostess Joy. An absolutely delightful person!
Checking in late in the evening was no problem. Ample parking, generous refreshments in our room and a good selection of cereal for breakfast.
A very cosy, comfortable room and adequate bathroom.
Pretty village location and minimal traffic on the road passing
If you are looking for air-conditioned luxury; look elsewhere. I prefer this 400 year old pub that has heaps of character. The Joy and Godfrey could not have been nicer. Neither could the staff or even the other customers. This is a real village pub where locals, of all generations, meet and interact respectfully. I really enjoyed my short stay and hope to stay there again.
