The cottage location was perfect.
Straight onto the footpath to Win Hill for the walkers in the group. A short drive to many little villages for the shoppers in the group. Not forgetting the pool and lovely large garden area for everyone to enjoy.
The hut is very clean and organised inside, it was also more spacious than anticipated. The location is beautiful and very scenic, as well as being a short walk away from the centre of the village which has some lovely cafes, restaurants, bakeries and an outdoor shop, as well as good transport links. The owners were very accommodating and quick to sort out any issues we had during the stay, such as supplying a fan as the hut gets quite warm during the summer.
Ideal location if you travel by train due to cottage's close proximity to the train station. Very quiet, overlooking a field, and clean too. The village is only a few minutes stroll away.
Amazing place, beautiful room with a fantastic view from the bathroom. John was an amazing host and the cake we were given was delicious. Such a beautiful village and a gorgeous surroundings area. We definitely will be booking again. Can't rate this place enough. Breakfast was incredible
High quality finish and furnished. Lovely and clean. The village was a short walk and so were many eateries too. We really enjoyed staying here and will definitely return. Such a lovely cottage.
Brilliant countryside village pub and b&b....clean, pleasant staff, nice room, local amenities and a very good location for a trip to the peak District.
Very disappointed they were full for the following night or we would have returned.
Must say if ever in the area again I know where to stay.
The shepherds hut was well thought out with some lovely touch’s, all you needed for your stay. We loved the fact there was a bathroom in the hut too. The view from the shepherds hut was amazing . A great area for good walks & a pub just down the road plus cafes etc in the village too but can self cater as small kitchen area in the hut too
Much effort had clearly gone into transforming the room for use as a holiday rental. The en. suite is tiled beautifully and everything is clean and new.
In a village with the best cafe opposite serving fantastic food and ideal for breakfast.
