And it only got better from there. Fran and Rob were excellent hosts and we left feeling like we spent our time with old friends. Quiet idillic lodge. All modcons. Just beautiful. Everything you need for a comfortable night stay. Lovely walks and adventure park right next to lodge. We didn’t have time to go here but if we stayed longer we would have taken the children here. It was a perfect stop before our travel across to France. 30 mins drive from the port of Newhaven.

We house was very well equipped with every utensil you could ever need. The furnishing was very comfortable and all the bedrooms were well thought through. The pool was very welcome especially as it was quite hot during our stay. The garden was beautiful with plenty of shade if you wanted.
