The host was incredibly nice, he welcomed us and gave us a lift to the hadrian wall path in the car the next morning. The B&B is perfect for walkers, it even has a small closet where we could dry our clothes. The room was very quiet.

Happy from the moment we parked in front of Shaftoe's Bridge, went inside and were immediately offered tea, coffee and biscuits. Incredible welcome and friendly, attentive service. Haydon Bridge village is so beautiful - this B&B sits next to the river with easy access to several pubs/eating places within walking distance. Very comfortable bedrooms with thoughtful amenities (only equalled in our London accommodation), sparkling clean, great showers, personal touches abound throughout the property.
