The room was excellent (although a little small) but cosy and spotlessy clean. The bed was comfortable, and we had a great nights sleep. We were next to a main road, but noise was very minimal. The evening meal was extremely tasty and very reasonably priced, and the breakfast was also really nice with some good quality items. We will definitely return at some point.

Lovely clean room and also the rest of the premises. All staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast selection and quality was very good. Restaurant food very good and reasonably priced for the area. Great selection of real ales.

Fantastic location, really clean with lots of facilities. Extremely comfortable and perfect city centre location. Parking permit were easily given to us and the owner was extremely helpful with great communication.

Great weekend away with friends and the Campsite went out of their way to ensure we had a great time. It was raining one night of our stay, and with only an outdoor eating area with our glamping stay, they offered us the use of the covered facility in the empty Safari tent next door. Great pizza on the Saturday night Even enjoyed the outside shower experience!

We liked the excellent location. It was right in the middle of the town, close to all the shops, bars, and restaurants, all within easy walking distance. The accommodation was comfortable, and the kitchen was very well equipped. The TV is huge. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The showers were powerful, and water was hot. The secret room was a welcome surprise, and the outdoor seating area was a nice added touch. The keysafe worked well, so check in and out was a breeze.

I stayed here for one night with two friends and we loved our stay and wish we had stayed longer. The lodge was great, there were very clear arrival instructions and it had everything we needed and I loved the peaceful location, nature and lake views. It’s a 5 min drive to the nearest canal side pub and 10 mins drive from a Sainsburys. Hatton Locks canal is also nearby and Packwood House, both lovely to visit.
