We were met by the host, the property was very well laid out and stylish with a old country kitchen look, I liked that the space revolved around the kitchen table.I attended Phil Brook’s bow making course which was within a 15 minute drive. All amenities were excellent and within a brief car drive.

Beautiful location, welcome hamper on arrival and friendly host met us upon arrival and gave us a walkthrough of the house and grounds. The rooms were clean and spacious with fresh towels and toiletries supplied. We had a group of 24 and we wanted for nothing as everything you needed was supplied and we cooked several meals with ease. The hot tub was lovely and hot and ready to use.

Quiet idillic lodge. All modcons. Just beautiful. Everything you need for a comfortable night stay. Lovely walks and adventure park right next to lodge. We didn’t have time to go here but if we stayed longer we would have taken the children here. It was a perfect stop before our travel across to France. 30 mins drive from the port of Newhaven.
