Lovely garden cottage . Our stay started with an amazing piece of cake at the cute garden cafe .
Our stay was great the place was spotlessly clean , there was everything you needed for a self catering stay . The garden is beautiful, sat with a cuppa in the sun shine . Plenty of space to put clothes etc . All towels etc great quality & toiletries . Very peaceful . Private parking .
Cafe next door & pub just round corner both great for drink & food . Very comfy for 2 . Ideal spot for beautiful walks , cycling or days out sight seeing .

The Berwick Inn was an excellent base to explore the South Downs. As we stayed only Sunday night and I was a bit late arriving the manager kindly phoned me to check I was on my way before the last orders time for food (19:30). The pub is closed on Monday but the manager still managed to provide a lovely breakfast of pain au chocolate, croissants and tea cakes. Top rate customer service was shown by all staff

They had thought of everything you needed to stay.
This is a VERY charming small village where most of the retailers are small independent shops and only a few big chain shops - and then in smaller and more discreet versions.
The hotel is located in the town centre, with check-in in the pub and with the choice of entering the hotel through the pub or a separate entrance, only a few steps from the carpark.
West Lodge was a lovely B&B set in a delightful, very quiet spot and Clare was a very welcoming & friendly hostess who ensured that our stay was most comfortable and restful. Nothing was too much trouble for Clare who was prepared to serve our particular choices for breakfast and was able to direct us to a village where we were meeting friends. This was certainly one of the best B&Bs we have stayed at.
Nice little holiday village, each house had parking was some privacy. Stayed in the honeymoon cottage was nice to be a little away from everyone else. Pillows were good, bathroom was nice and clean, good little kitchen facility. Hot tub was great!
Beautiful, welcoming cottage - it genuinely feels like someone's home, rather than a holiday cottage. Very comfortable and well-equipped. Child/dog proof private garden. The owners are welcoming and helpful.
Fully furnished, neat clean and tidy. Perfect for us, a family of three. Own holiday park home with hot tub. Gated community and nice tidy and quiet grounds. Close to Eastbourne, Lewis etc and sights like the Seven Sisters, Birling Gap, Cuckmere river, quaint picturesque villages …… in beautiful Sussex.
