My wife and I (and our dog) just stayed one night en route from Hastings to Yorkshire. Our hosts made our short stay a positively memorable experience. Their two lovely rescue dogs (setters) were a bonus for us and for our own dog.
Breakfast couldn’t have been better. This accommodation is nothing like a “Premier Inn”, instead it is a comfortable, cosy cottage that has charm and character run by hospitable and warm hearted hosts.
My wife tells me that I made a very good choice in booking Mountain Ash and I would agree.

The Pod was superb - our first experience of one, but we could not have chosen better. The owners have paid so much attention to detail, provided everything you could need, and it is so tastefully done and in a beautiful, private setting. Cottage exceeded all expectations, we stayed for my 50th birthday. Hosts met us on arrival with a pot of well appreciated tea and homemade warm muffins 😋. Fridge was very well stocked with breakfast essentials and extra goodies to help celebrate. Very relaxing environment, comfortable and cosy. The hosts have covered all our travel needs to make us feel at home. Best nights sleep I’ve experienced whilst travelling. Definitely recommend to all friends and family. We will be booking future dates, can’t wait to go back.

The location of the property is fantastic. Secluded cabin in beautiful surroundings. Easy walking right on the doorstep. The beds were extremely comfortable. Cabin was warm and cosy. There were some lovely touches from a host who clearly understands what guests require from a holiday cottage. We hope to stay at Dolly's Cabin again.
The accommodation was clean and well equipped. Comfy and warm. Friendly hosts. Excellent shower. Fabulous quiet location. On the edge of the village which is a lovely place. The nearby pub offered home made food. The 3 Alpacas were an extra treat. We were allowed to enter the other fields on the land to observe them. On asking we fed them while supervised. Totally enjoyed that.
No breakfast, but tea, coffee and sugar supplied along with fresh milk in the fridge (not a given in many properties).
The cabin is quite spacious, well furnished with all the facilities you'd hope for. Lovely quiet location on the edge of a small village.
