Very comfortable large country house with spacious relaxing lounge and lovely dining area. Made to feel very welcome from the start with cup of coffee. Surrounded by beautiful west Fermanagh countryside. Just south of Lough Melvin and very convenient to Lough Navar Forest Drive. A hidden gem. Dinner was outstanding, breakfast too. Room lacked nothing, and plenty of space. Enjoyable in every way.

The location is amazing, small renovated cottage near lake, hidden in forest. Great spot to explore surroundings: inland as well as cost line. The house is very well equiped. All needed is at disposal. Do not expect luxury, but warm and comfy place to stay. Henry, the host, is very nice and friendly. Whenever or whatever needed it was easy to get in contact with. We would definitely recommend Cael uisce apartment......We had a most enjoyable weekend. Our accommodation was excellent, and bernie and her husband were so welcoming...it was our first experience staying in an apartment, and we enjoyed it so much, just the peace and quiet and our own space . The accommodation itself was better than we expected and had everything we needed there, was nothing overlooked...so clean and such a relaxed atmosphere plus beautiful scenery . It was home away from home...what we paid for our weekend stay was totally worth it. I will be thinking of using apartments more often as we go away a lot and especially with the hotels crazy prices.

It was a beautiful cottage in a stunning location. Wonderful hosts who made us very welcome. The cottage was fully equipped even things like salt and pepper and butter provided. Immaculately clean. Even though I am from Sligo originally and could have stayed with family, this was the R & R needed to recharge the batteries. Couldn’t recommend or highly enough.

We had a lovely stay at this location. Though I never had the opportunity to meet Conor, as we were arriving well after dark, he was very quick to answer questions and quite patient with me as I seemed to have so many. I did have the opportunity to meet his dad, and found him to be a lovely man; friendly, knowledgable, and personable. That’s to be expected in Ireland, of course, but not so much where we come from. We had some issues during our visit that were beyond the owners control; the brand new (as in just a few weeks since installation) point of use water heater in the main bedroom’s shower failed, and they were so apologetic, though a defect was certainly not their fault and there was not much they could do about it. They handled it well, and it wasn’t too much trouble. A plumber was arriving straight away to get it rectified, as it was under warranty. A few things to note; 1. There is no telephone or internet. We found this to be only a slight burden for navigation, but nothing else. It was quite pleasant to relegate the phone for music duties only. Make sure people know where you are in case of emergency. 2. The fireplace door requires quite the effort to open, turning the handle counter-clockwise. It is fully functional, I assure you. Just put some muscle into it. Plenty of wood and peat are provided. 3. All supplies are provided for washing both your body and dishes, and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you might need to cook, reheat, and eat your food. Hand and bath towels are provided as well, but no face towels/washcloths. 4. Conor will inform you that both the house heater and the water heater for the second bedroom, sinks and kitchen are on timers. Don’t be concerned about that! It’s obviously for saving electricity, but we found the water to be hot at all times and the cabin plenty comfortable. 5.
