This is a bit of hidden gem as it just looks like a shop front from the street but all the rooms are in a unit behind the bar. My room was very large and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and breakfast service was excellent. If you are a light sleeper be aware that the town clock in Fochabers rings clear and true every hour :)
Greenacres Coffee Shop next door is worth a mention as well - good coffee and cakes

Generous breakfast, and hot was cooked to order.
Close to 2 beautiful sandy beaches. We ate in 3 different restaurants, which were all good.

Fantastic location for golf at Moray overlooking clubhouse and first tee with sea beyond. Host went above and beyond to ensure perfect stay. Easy parking on road outside guest house. Great breakfast.

I was impressed with how well equipped the house was - even sky tv! Furthermore, there was loads of cutlery, crockery etc - it is so annoying when you stay in a holiday home and there is the bare minimum resulting in having to handwash the cups every time you had a cup of tea. Even the small minutae such as big bags, washing up liquid etc - they were all there for our use. Inveravon was tremendous in that respect. The use of the hot tub was an absolute thrill and highlight of the holiday.
I would also like to add that the hosts were very accommodating - whilst we were supposed to leave by 10am, they contacted us to say that this was not a problem and to just leave when we were ready.
All these little things made such a big and positive difference.

We were very impressed by the cleanliness of the accommodation. It is very handy within walking distance of the shops. Also close to wooded walks around the village.
We visited Gordon Castle. Beautiful gardens. Spent time in the museum. Very interesting. Close to Christies where you can buy good food and gifts. The main purpose of our stay was to visit relatives and go to Speyfest. We were impressed with Hannah Rarity and Fiddlers Bid at Saturday night concert.
The Red Lion is a friendly comfortable property in the centre of a charming village. A great place to meet the local folk and learn about the surrounding area. The staff are very welcoming and the breakfast is excellent. The simplicity and relaxed atmosphere was everything we had hoped for.
Village pub, but with large bedrooms. Breakfast was lovely. Dinner was served but they recommended another hotel close by and we had a lovely dinner. Village was quiet, which was good as the hotel is on the main road.
Cosy traditional B&B pub vibes in a sleepy village well-located for distiller trips. Good solid breakfast options. Wifi was reasonable for an old rambling building.
