The location was close to town, parking outside if needed was good. Nice compact layout, nice sized shower. The owner left the windows open to cool it down it was a very hot day.

We arrived in the pouring rain, and soaking wet, so it was a relief to know umbrellas were ready and available, and even hot water bottles, though we didn’t need these. The room was cosy, tea and coffee making facilities were very welcome and the beds comfortable. The town is a short 5 minute walk with options for an evening meal. Breakfast is self service, but plenty to choose from. It was a welcome overnight stay for us after a long journey and gratefully, easy parking for our motorbike. Even though Jean was feeling unwell during our stay she still made sure we had everything we needed.

We loved the spa facilities and pool although a little steep £25 for a family to use, should be included in the price really.
The room was clean and spacious and adequate facilities such as tea and coffee and a water machine just outside the room.
Good parking and very close to a small shopping village and other restaurants.
Location is great with Whitely Village down the road and close to Southampton and Portsmouth.
Plenty of parking.
Good size room, lovely big, comfy bed and fab shower.
Good amount of storage for clothes etc and nice to have an iron and board in the room.
Great size telly, good amount of sockets and USB Ports around the room.
Good controls for adjusting the temperature of the room, which are easy to use.
Free WiFi, that worked well.
Hotel was quiet and we slept well.
Very quiet location with just a little train noise. Two blocks from the supermarket. Easy access to the sights of Portsmouth and the Roman villa. Good internet. Nice shower.
We know this area very well having previously lived here. The property was, for us, so much more comfortable and more spacious than an hotel room in town and in easy walking distance to the train and bus station. We were happy with the holiday rental.
The breakfast offering was good. It did not state on the menu that pancakes had to be ordered. I was only given that information when I asked where they were.
The aspect of the room was good for us, quiet at the back of the hotel but near the pool and on the ground floor. The location of the hotel was also good as we wanted to explore the local villages and towns.
Our room was spacious, comfortable and quiet with its own private entrance. No air-con but a ceiling fan kept the air circulating and we slept well. The location was convenient too being just a short walk to the centre of the village with its shops and cafes. Our hosts could not have been more
accommodating and helpful. The continental breakfast was of good quality and plentiful. We would happily stay there again if we were in the area.
