We absolutely loved staying at Tannery House. Beautiful place . It’s located in the centre of town , however it’s hidden away behind high street shops. It’s in a lovely quiet area . You’d never know you were in the heart of Bakewell.
The owner Sarah was extremely helpful. Lovely lady . We plan to rebook next year .
We wholeheartedly recommend Tannery House to all those wanting to visit Bakewell. It’s the BEST place in town . 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

Me and my mum felt at home the moment we walked into the cottage as it was so cosy. Claire, the host was great with communication and has gone to great lengths to make this a comfortable stay. We were provided with breakfast supplies and a bottle of Prosecco which was a lovely treat! The cottage was very clean too. The hot tub was the cherry on top and made our stay extra special. I would definitely recommend going for walks in the village as there are some nice cafes and a pub nearby.
We will definitely return in the future!
A beautiful BnB in an historical village in a lovely part of England. Great walks and the town was especially interesting with its poignant link to the plague. We loved our accommodation and the breakfast was to 'die for' - no Bubonic plague here though!! Very special stay in a beautiful and very well maintained and run bnb. We'd return in a flash if it wasn't so far away.
Comfortable, clean accommodation is to be found in this popular, long established traditional village pub. Food at all meals was excellent with staff service being efficient and friendly .. welcoming our 2 dogs !
It was beautiful and had amazing views. It had history to read up about and view on walks around the village. We felt very welcome at the cottage and breakfast was perfect. I will return again in the future and recommend to friends and family.
It is a lovely apartment that is a mix of B&B with self catering which is perfect! The breakfasts were absolutely delicious. Felcity and Gary were fantastic hosts. The location is great for exploring the Peak District. Eyam village has a lot of fascinating history. The view was spectacular and we were blessed with some great weather
Clean well presented rooms. Ample parking snd was made welcome from arrival. Freindly and welcoming staff. Very good breakfast and all set in a lovely interesting village.
