Nice rural location on a farm. Close to a road but no issues with traffic noise. Easy access to several local restaurents and pubs as well as Stratford upon Avon and the Cotswolds. Accomodation great value for money. Large bedroom with comfy bed and TV. The location of the Hotel was very convenient for us because was walking distance to my son’s house as we were over for Xtmas Eve.
We haven’t done much around because of the short time we spend in the area and on 25th everything was closed.
We arrived quite late for the check in because we drove from other village.
The reception was closed but there was a kind woman who was expecting us.
Gave us the keys of the rooms and some explanation about how it works the property.
Well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay e.g. kitchen, living room. There was a beautiful and very clean spa pool in the backyard. The area was great for driving to see many Cotswold Villages as well as many National Trust listed properties. Walk to a pub in about two minutes, Spar in about two minutes, and only about 15 minutes walk to town. There was a very interesting Hampton river crossing on a small punt.
Very cosy and clean. walkable to the village pub, which had lovely food and lots going on. The beds were very comfortable and the house felt very spacious for a couple and one dog. The heating control had run out of batteries but the house keeper Edyta arranged for her husband to fix it very quickly. she was very helpful.
A superb well equipped cottage with everything we needed for our stay. The village is quaint and a must is a visit to The Fleece pub. We had a very enjoyable meal there and the pies are excellent. I would certainly go back.
Robin's Cottage is a superb holiday home. It's in a quiet yet convenient location and contains everything you might want for a very comfortable stay. The house is well-equipped, warm and very welcoming. This is a true 'home from home' that did not disappoint in any way. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely use again if ever in the area.
