We really enjoyed our stay in the Suffolk shepherd hut. The location is outstanding situated just outside of York within a short drive to the shuttle bus service into York city centre. The hut itself is very well equipped essentially everything you could possibly need for a long weekend utensils for preparing meals etc.. The overall feel of the place is amazing. The BBQ outside which doubles up as a fire pit which we used along with the log burner are also nice additions! We also enjoyed the alpacas which were nearby in their field. The owner allowed us to go over with her to feed them. To close we really enjoyed our stay and are already looking forward to rebooking in the not too distant future.

Location is amazing, only around 20 minutes away from York city center. Everyone was really friendly, the cabin had everything you'd need and was really clean and warm. Plenty of parking as well. Hope to come back in warmer weather

Everything about the stay was exceptional. The lodge is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The park staff were welcoming and helpful. The park itself is stunning with lovely walks in nature to enjoy. Have to give a mention to Olivia,s Tea Room, the food drinks and service are fantastic.
