The accommodation was very comfortable and the decor was beautiful and stylish. The hosts were very friendly. Fabulous breakfast and also very generous and filling. Sheila went out of her way to make sure everything was just right. We particularly enjoyed the little courtyard accessed from the dining room as we stayed during a heat wave. Easingwold was a quaint little village and we would recommend booking into the restaurant at The George for your evening meal.

There were amenities very close by. In the village, a bakery made hot pork, apple and stuffing barncakes, which were very nice. There are some walks from the village and York's park and drive is only a few miles away.
