Breakfast not good; bacon too crispy for me, beans tasteless, fried eggs hard

Loved this beautiful old hotel in this very pretty quaint village. We had an upgraded room which included a carpark, for which we were very grateful. Our room size was very generous and the cooked to order breakfast was first rate. The staff were very attentive and friendly.

And old, traditional lovely farmhouse . We felt very welcomed and had wonderful 2 days.
Very restful, charming room with wonderful view of the village church. Our hostess was very helpful, kind and attentive to detail. Breakfast was lovely too.
Nice village. Convenient for Dartmoor. Nice room. Easy to sleep well. Great breakfast. Host asked what I wanted ahead of time and catered for me specially when I asked for vegan. (I might have asked for vegetarian had I known her eggs were free range but I found that out later). Home made bread for toast was a treat. Lovely friendly Host. Had a nice chat in the morning and got recommendations for local walks and future holiday destinations.
A very sociable host Sally who provides clean, comfortable room in her own home. A good breakfast cooked by her in the morning. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The village pub had recently closed. I had a 10 minute drive to Fingle Bridge for food. I am informed by the host that the pub will be re opened as the village had purchased the property, they intend to run the establishment.
Right in the middle of Drewsteignton. Charming village, fortunately protected from visiting coach parties by a maze of narrow lanes. Interior of village pub is pretty much unchanged since the early 20th century. Handy for Castle Drogo. Wonderful walks for the energetic, try the loop out to Castle Drogo, then along the Teign to Fingle Bridge, and back.
Host (Sally) is friendly and knowledgeable. Good choice of breakfast.
Sally our host made us feel very welcome. We liked the village location very much and it was near to Castle Drago, which we wanted to visit the next day. Parking was easy and we went for a short drive to Fingle Bridge, which was lovely. Breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed seeing the hedgehog at the property the evening before.
