Hosts Angela and Duncan (even Buster/Quince the Alsatian) were very welcoming and friendly and once we'd chatted just left us to get on with it. We were fortunate with the weather so had a wonderful view of the valley as far as the eye could see - and if you couldn't they even had a small pair of binoculars in the Hut for guests to use. Can also recommend the Pandy Pub down the road for good food and friendly atmosphere. Chickens made us chuckle and their eggs were tasty too !

It was such a beautiful cottage that felt more than a home than a holiday cottage. It had everything you could need plus it was set in beautiful peaceful countryside. The hosts were helpful but not intrusive and left us to enjoy the cottage and our time as a family.

As soon as we arrived at the property, we were in absolute awe. It is breathtaking, even better than the photos if you can believe it! Beautiful rooms, beautifully decorated, so much character, and stocked with everyone you could need. As a group of 12, we were well looked after and Coralie is an excellent host - so helpful and welcoming. The barn is located in a lovely quiet village, close to Hay on Wye. We couldn’t recommend Meadow End Barn enough! Hope to return again in the future :)

Magdalene was an excellent host, very friendly and helpful and had a wonderful personal touch. The wooden cabins were outstanding- built by master craftsmen in European spruce, they were beautiful, functional, warm and fragrant. The small village is off the beaten track and is quiet and quaint with great walking trails on your doorstep. The rooms are located right next to the Pandy Inn which has a lovely pub and serves good food. This was one of the best stays we experienced during our tour of the UK!

Charming peaceful location in a quaint village with lovely rural views. Bonus was the pub a mere 50 yards away. The Polish style spruce timber building is delightful and our rooms had excellent en suite facilities. The owner makes breakfast in a separate cabin to order and the food was very good with generous portions. The pen with bantam chickens and running ducks added to the charm. The location is perfect for exploring Hereford, castles, Hay-on-Wye, Brecon Beacons and more. We will be back.

We loved the location - in the heart of the village and behind the fabulous pub. The room was stunning and exceptionally clean, overlooking beautiful countryside. The bed was so comfortable. The made to order cooked breakfast was delicious- to top it all, the owner was just delightful.
