The food -both dinner and breakfast- was superb, much better than we expected in a village pub.

Excellent pub/hotel, lively atmosphere (but in a good way), really friendly and welcoming staff, great food and Dirleton is a very picturesque and interesting village.
The hotel was superb, very clean, great wee beer garden. Food was exceptionally good.

The hotel is in a great location with lovely views across the village green and there are beautiful beaches nearby which can be walked to. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. In the bar/restaurant there was a cosy atmosphere and delicious food, and the staff were very welcoming to us and our dog (she loved the dog biscuits!) We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return.
