A beautiful big house in the countryside and only a 10 minute walk through a park to Badminton House. The owners were extremely welcoming. We had a cup of tea and biscuits in the garden on arrival in the sunshine, which was lovely after a long drive. The house is nicely appointed and well within reach of Bath and various other local areas of interest. The friendly and generous nature of the owners coupled with a beautiful breakfast and very comfortable rooms make this place a very enjoyable visit.

The staff very helpful, as we arrived in the pouring rain,bit earlier than expected and rather wet. Room was ready for us by 3.30pm managed to dry off and change into some dry clothes.

Lovely welcome, staff are friendly and approachable. It has a pretty garden to sit in during the sunny afternoon and evening.
Like that locals visit and eat here still, some with their dogs. Lovely quiet village setting and plenty of walks to do if you dont want to venture out in the car. Wonderful Cotswold scenery all around and plenty of places to go in car. - particularly like Westonbirt Arboretum. Like plenty off road parking - can be busy during food serving time.
Great location, welcome and staff, accommodation was pleasant and suited my needs (evening meals were cooked to perfection), there are plenty of beautiful walks round the village, and other villages/towns with greater amenities are 15/20 minutes a way by car.
