Photos don’t do justice to this place. Very nicely kept and hosts are amazing. Food was really good and had options to customise the breakfast. Rooms are well equipped and very clean.
We booked two rooms and entry to them was separate and felt more so secluded area only for our family. Beds were comfy and quite big as compared to other places we stayed in Scotland.
We thoroughly enjoyed the property and wish had spent more time.
You do need to travel 15mins to reach nearest town but it’s worth it. There are few places near by to see aswell.

The host Kirsty was very welcoming. Room and en suite was extremely spacious and comfortable. Some Scottish snacks also provided which is a lovely touch. Room was clean and breakfast was absolutely fantastic, fresh bread, homemade pancakes and a Scottish fry up was amazing before a day of hillwalking. Would definitely return again.

Lovely owners, made to feel very welcome. There is a train station nearby, on the line from Glasgow to Oban, and a very good restaurant in the next village called Ben Cruachan.
The room was really nice, clean and comfortable, interior was beautiful. The hosts were super friendly and kind, we enjoyed chatting with them. The breakfast pancakes and maple syrup were amazing. Highly recommend to stay Craig Villa.
Location was perfect. Lochawe is a nice village with a good local shop and pub. Scenery stunning. Plenty of wildlife and a robin in the property back garden actually ate food from my hand. During our week there we travelled to Inveraray, Oban, Glencoe, Portavadie marina, Fort William, Tarbert all commutable easily by car with nice drives. House is great especially for the price. Hosts were quick to reply during our stay and helpful. I’d highly recommend and would use this property again.
It was all great. Loved the Scottish decor, bed very comfortable, room was great, breakfast good portions and very good, and everything was also very good. Owners were very accomdating and very pleasant. Parking was good and close to some walking trails. We drove to Glen Coe for more hiking trails from the Villa as quite area and not pricy as in Glen Coe. Location also close to Kilchurn Castle. Train station just down the road and bus stop. Highly recommend the Craig Villa!
Beautifully kept, well decorated property. Our room was spotlessly clean with everything we wanted. Slept very comfortably in a warm, cosy room. Coffee, tea and breakfast was exceptional. The hosts Ewan and Taryn were so welcoming and friendly and made us feel instantly at home. I absolutely would recommend Craig Villa and will be returning.
After a day of cycling in the chilly rain, Craig Villa Guest House was warm and welcoming. Everything was perfect from start to finish. I highly recommend.
