This place is a complete hidden gem. Stunning views and setting.
If I had stayed longer, there were lots of walking and cycling opportunities around. Not that I cycle, but for information purposes, I'm adding that. There are only 2 pods and a cabin in the enclosed field, well spaced out and safe for dogs off the lead. Firepit at the pod with a supply of wood provided to start off a campfire. The shower was great and instant hot water. The owner was very helpful too. A perfect night in all.

Location in the parkland is great, barbecue and logs provided for the fire grate, no telly to bother me and the walking through the woods is a fantastic experience.
Located 2 km from Ayr Racecourse and 4 km from Robert Burns Birthplace Museum, Barns Serviced Accommodation features free Wifi and all guests have access to a shared kitchen and patio.
Room was to the front of the hotel ( on a busy road) opposite a petrol station … while it is a small village- the cars / traffic are easily heard. We were told by staff there, that the hotel was only half full so I was surprised / disappointed that we were given such a noisy room
A nice clean hotel. With lovely Scottish charm. Lots of beautiful surrounding countryside yet based in a lovely friendly village. Delicious dinner and breakfast with great choice of local produce food. Good bar with good choice of drinks and whiskey.
