The food was amazing and very tasty, and girls waiting in the restaurant were two of the best waitresses I've ever experienced, and I travel a lot.

Location was brilliant short walk in to a lovely little village. The local pub was so friendly, the landlord Jeff made us so welcome by the end of the week we felt like locals! Food and drink was great there. There were many great walks around hemlock and surrounding area’s and lots of places to visit in up to an hours drive away, the facilities on site were spot on also, whether it was just lounging in the beautiful gardens soaking in the rays or cooling down in the swimming pool this cottage catered for it.
The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. The choice of bar food was limited but the quality was excellent. The breakfast offered little choice (full English only) but was delicious. The room was clean and comfortable. The village was quiet and peaceful. We loved it that the locals use the pub which gave a great feel.
The full English offered for breakfast was excellent. The staff were welcoming, helpful and very friendly. The newly refurbished rooms were very comfortable, clean and thoughtfully equipped, plentiful hot water in the shower and tea and coffee tray with large cups appreciated!
The restaurant area is very relaxing and typical country pub with outdoor seating. Food is good pub standard and prices as expected. Lovely location on the edge of a pretty village in rolling countryside, big carpark. Convenient for The Corn Barn party venue.
Perfect location, so quiet and relaxing. Short walk from two pubs. Catherine’s wheel serves outstanding pub food. Villa is Equipped very well for long stay vacations. Owners are very nice and welcoming. Couldn’t have asked for more. We’ve had the best time.
The location was just outside the village, beautiful gardens and meadows all around. The breakfast was delicious. Beautifully cooked and presented in the elegant farmhouse dining room. Our rooms were extremely spacious and all the facilities spotlessly clean.
Quite a remote location, quiet village which we liked. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of parking, easy access to rooms although with a couple of steps. Food was reasonable priced and very nice.
Location is superb for visiting all that Devon & Cornwall have to offer. The lodge itself has been carefully designed and fitted with everything you could possibly need in a holiday home. Anne was very welcoming and left us a lovely welcome pack of home made cake, wine, milk and eggs. I’d highly recommend this place, go see for yourself just how lovely this place is. Oh and a very comfy bed which is key to a good holiday.
