The house was clean although a little worn and could have done with a facelift. It was comfortable and spacious but did not meet expectations nor did it truly reflect the description. Host seemed lovely although I didn’t meet them. Too many house rules for a holiday home such as signs in the bathroom advising you to use a toilet brush, and advised of deposit deductions for braking any of the rules.

An immaculate holiday home, spacious and well presented with all the home comforts. Always a bit apprehensive booking dog friendly accommodation but I had no concerns here, it was pristine and had all the cleaning equipment available to keep it that way. We had a very peaceful break despite the horrendous weather. It was very relaxing sitting by the patio doors watching the ever changing weather and landscape with a glass of wine and a good book. A good base for many of the local sights
I really liked this cottage. Situated in quiet village, all you needed was right there. Perfect for long weekend away (or a week). We had 2 large dogs and had no problems at all- there is a gate at the front and in the back. Cottage itself was prepared really good with well equipped kitchen and comfy living room. highly recommend!
Location is superb, in a quiet village, a few minutes walk over fields to an atmospheric pub that serves good food , and a few minutes drive to a beach.
The location was ideal for visiting family who lives in the village and also to explore Cornwall. There is a local shop very nearby as well as a cracking bakery. The beach at Holywell Bay is a reasonable walk from Cubert, but excellent bus routes go through Cubert.
