The accommodation was fantastic exceptionally clean very comfortable beds and the pillows and bedding were great.
Breakfast was excellent every morning.

Very quiet location yet well placed for access to the town and facilities. The whole place was so well presented, beautiful lounge area and such comfortable bedrooms, excellent breakfast - I can’t praise enough!

Turned up a few hours early, parking was not a problem. After check out i asked if it was possible to park for a few hours to do a ferry trip on lake Windermere, not a problem. Room was spotless, breakfast was well cooked and tasty. If in the area would definitely use Hawksmoor again

Great value for money and I would absolutely return. The staff also made an occasion of our anniversary with a lovely decoration in the room. The use of the spa was also much appreciated.

This was a great place to stay in Windermere- so close to everything, clean and comfortable, and so many recommendations for the area! Would definitely recommend!
The cottage is fantastic and has absolutely everything you would need. Lovely and clean. Beautiful bedding and big fluffy towels. Quiet location. Wonderful owner very friendly and there if you needed her. Ideally situated for walks but also only a 20 minute drive into Kendal or other nearby villages.
Overall place was so nice ,peaceful friendly staff & other guests too. The cute ducks outside resteraunt windows peaking in . Model village enjoyed outside & in lobby near our room. .would highly recommend. C
The staff are amazing, lovely people. The location is stunning. With the extra addition of the miniature slate village, makes this a fabulous base for exploring the lakes.
Beautiful property with nice garden and a small pond. It has a miniature version of the entire village made like in a museum which was very interesting. The entrance to this miniature village is free of cost.
Lovely hotel in a great location. Extensive gardens with miniature village. Ample parking. Room modern and comfortable. Good breakfast. In the evening, the bar was quite busy giving a good vibe. Staff attentive and pleasant.
The whole place was very clean and well maintained. The hidden gem was seeing the Lakeland model village through the bedroom window which has been relocated to the site from Grange over Sands. Great choice of food on the dinner menu.
Nice remote location but with great access to key Lakes locations. Beautiful fireside area and the food was also great. The miniature village addition is spectacular!!! I will definitely come here again.
