The location was perfect, just off the A75 on the way to Cairnryan. The facilities in the village were good - a shop, petrol station & pub/restaurant. The facilities in the accommodation were also good.

The property was great, I stayed for 3 nights over the New Year. Creetown is a lovely little village and Barholm is in the centre right next to a convenience store. There was a communal sitting area and kitchen. The room was very clean and bed was comfortable.

Loved my stay here! Quite a simple room but had everything I needed! Staff were amazing! I was greeted by Karen who was lovely and welcoming! It is quite near a small shop which was very handy. Not to far from other towns and villages.

Beautiful countryside in this little town. A children's adventure playground within walking distance (outdoor and free), and nice little walks in the hills behind the accommodation. A very quiet town and only a short drive to lots of other interesting places. We went to Port Patrick, which is a wonderful village on the coast. We also visited Mull of Galloway and went up into the lighthouse. Great little bank holiday break.

Clean simple accomodation. Dog friendly and an EV charger. Creetown is a sleepy little village but well placed for sightseeing in Dumfries and Galloway. Staff were very helpful over the phone - sorry not to meet them! Corner shop just down the road for essentials. Laird's Lodge in derelict castle in caravan park does good food.
