The location is peaceful, deep in the Dorset countryside. I can’t say enough about how wonderful this bed-and-breakfast is in Salisbury and the host and his two amazing assistants. This comment includes the wonderful breakfast each morning. Without hesitation, I would return to stay with this host. My last comment would be to reflect on how personable and even professional the host is and again his two assistants.

A lovely, homely, comfortable place to stay, with wonderful hosts. The a la carte dinner was delicious and the breakfast was the best we’ve had all holiday (through four different countries). Cranborne is a gorgeous wee village and we enjoyed every minute here.
Charming location because a short stroll from the front door is a gate opening on to the Cranborne Estate walk. So you can immediately access some of the loveliest Wiltshire countryside, with a magnificent view of Cranborne Manor.
Also the village has one of the nicest and best garden centres and shop in the country!

The room (Blandford Forum) was spacious and clean. The bedding was great quality and very comfortable mattress.

There is absolutely no phone reception anywhere in the village or surrounding areas including St Giles House however the WiFi at the Fleur de Lys was great.

The house was beautiful and very clean. Donna was very welcoming and made us feel at home. The two cute dogs were an added bonus! We had such a lovely time and a great experience of our first B&B. The village is very beautiful with pubs within walking distance and the house is really close to footpaths and bridle paths for running and walking.
