Inveravon Holiday Home, hotel in Craigellachie

Boasting a hot tub, Inveravon Holiday Home is set in Dufftown. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi.

I was impressed with how well equipped the house was - even sky tv! Furthermore, there was loads of cutlery, crockery etc - it is so annoying when you stay in a holiday home and there is the bare minimum resulting in having to handwash the cups every time you had a cup of tea. Even the small minutae such as big bags, washing up liquid etc - they were all there for our use. Inveravon was tremendous in that respect. The use of the hot tub was an absolute thrill and highlight of the holiday. I would also like to add that the hosts were very accommodating - whilst we were supposed to leave by 10am, they contacted us to say that this was not a problem and to just leave when we were ready. All these little things made such a big and positive difference.

Bankhouse B&B, hotel in Craigellachie

Situated right in the heart of Aberlour and a minutes walk to the River Spey, this is the perfect base for exploring Speyside and its distilleries. The Mash Tun Hotel with its many whiskies is just across the park. There’s great coffee just across the road. This place is very comfortable and very clean. And the breakfasts are awesome!

Abbeyfield B&B, hotel in Craigellachie

Situated in Dufftown, in a historic building, 22 km from Huntly Castle, Abbeyfield B&B is a guest house with a garden and shared lounge.

This is more than B&B! The elegant house has been beautifully renovated to provide a luxurious stay for guests. Our bedroom was lovely; huge comfortable bed, two armchairs and a great walk-in shower. Kira was keen that we made ourselves at home. There is a lovely garden to relax in (and make a BBQ if you wish) a very comfortable living room and a dining room where you can chill your own drinks and accommodate eating a takeaway meal for dinner (cutlery and crockery provided). Breakfast choices are more like high-end hotel and prepared lovingly. We really appreciated a more relaxed breakfast time up to 9:30am who doesn’t like a little lie-in on holiday? This place was a great find and made the Speyside leg of our Scotland Grand Tour just that little bit more special. A memorable stay.

Mortlach Cottage, hotel in Craigellachie

Offering quiet street views, Mortlach Cottage is an accommodation located in Dufftown, 34 km from Leith Hall Garden & Estate and 37 km from Kildrummy Castle.

Clean & comfortable. All the facilities worked as expected. Comfortable bed. Excellent value for what I paid. It’s not a modern cottage, more like traditional Scottish. I was travelling on business, but the cottage is a short walk to the world famous Glendiddich distillery & Balvenie castle.

This is a really lovely place to stay in a pretty village location. My room was nice and comfortable with a pretty outlook and nicely fitted bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. I had dinner in the Bar which was excellent and there is a truly stunning selection of whiskies in the Bar. All the staff were exceptionally pleasant. I would highly recommend this establishment.

This is a really special stay. Luxurious, comfortable, spacious and beautifully decorated. The host was so helpful and friendly. The grounds are stunning and well-organised and lit, even along the specially built path to the centre of the village. Very well thought out.
